Smoky Fire at 326 W55
At around 12:30 AM on Monday March 15, at least six FDNY fire trucks, including one from ladder company 4, responded to a smoky fire at 326 W 55. Residents who evacuated the building said there was lots of smoke in the hallways. No one heard any alarms. The FDNY helped an elderly man down the stairs and gave him oxygen. He was taken by paramedics to the hospital.
